Kanebo fan please pay attention here - Voluntary recall for certain products
In a beautiful tranquility night, while enjoying testing a new serum got from a liquidation, I was shocked at noticing a news concerning the voluntary recall from Kanebo cosmetic for its skincare lines, namely Blanchir Superior, Impress Ic and Granmula, plus RMK Skintuner.
Basically,the recalled products are designed to brighten skin texture. According to a Japanese medical report, however, there were 39 cases within Japan only claimed to experience white blotches and discoloration on over their faces after using above mentioned Kanebo skincare stuff. The true culprit is now in the middle of investigation, though believed to be driven by 4HPB or Rhododenol 4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-butanol - a whitening chemical substance widely marketed as an active ingredients in more than 450, 000 units which are currently used by approximately 250, 000 women in the world ( hey, count the men too ~)
And well, I am one of them. Actually, I have to admit that I'm really in love with the Blanchir Superior clear condition ( toner ). It helps to smoothen my skin, revise it and gives a slight cure to blemishes. Not it had been for the recall, I promise this toner will always save a place in my skincare routine.
Regarding the theme of the recall, and I dare give a zero for Vietnam franchise staff's attitude. I don't know about your countries, but I am here - in Vietnam to pay 30% higher at the price and got treated like a fool .Other customers and I had to come to the brand office and were recommended to continue using the Blanchir products if there is no reaction. Surprisingly, some were convinced , others changed the line of product ( pay extra money ) and very few ( like me ) till insisted on asking for cash refund.
Now, I should really stress here (in case if any of you are not clear) that no matter how much product you used up, the refund is 100% cash back - same with the price you paid to get the units. I know that many may feel afraid of stating your point in this such circumstance, but please, move forward and raise your voice. There is no need to be ashamed because it's your own sake and it's your rights to ask.
